The Mission of The San Francisco Marathon
The mission of The San Francisco Marathon™ is to provide runners from around the globe a unique urban running experience in the city of San Francisco, which includes running on the Golden Gate Bridge. All net proceeds from The San Francisco Marathon events, which include a Full marathon, 2 Half Marathons, Progressive Marathon, 5K, Cause to Run, and Training Program, benefit Committed 2 Community, which is the non-profit organization that produces The San Francisco Marathon.
