Description

The inaugural San Jose National Veterans Day Run will start near the HP Pavilion, run along the Guadalupe Trail and end at the Heritage Rose Garden in San Jose. The race will offer two distances, 11k and a 1-mile healthy walk. We expect a large turnout of veterans and active-duty military to this race, so come on out and support the men and women of our armed forces.

The 1-mile walk will start immediately following the start of the 11k. The 11k will be professionally timed, using state-of-the-art Chronotrak timing systems. All runners/walkers will receive the following:

* Pre-race ceremony honoring Veterans
* Cotton finisher's t-shirt
* Mailed Registration packets (and timing tags for 11k)
* 1" commemoritive collector's pin and lanyard
* Finisher's Certificate
* Finish-line refreshments
