Brief Description:
Join the Host organization, Kansas City Prostate Cancer Foundation (KCPCaF), and the Local Premier Sponsor, Kansas City Urology Care (KCUC), and the National Premier Sponsor, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, for the 3rd Annual GPCC – Kansas City 5K Race & 1 Mile Walk to support our National Beneficiary, ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer. GPCC – Kansas City is part of a national initiative, taking place in 27 cities, that raises funds for prostate cancer research and community awareness programs.

Bring the Whole Family:
This is a great family activity and all ages are welcome to participate. We are adding to our Kid Fun Zone this year. Breakfast will once again be sponsored by Kansas City Urology Care.

Fun Door Prizes:
Fun door prizes will be given away randomly to lucky winners throughout the event!

Pet Policy:
For the safety of our runners and walkers, we do not permit bikes, roller blades or pets on the course by participants. Pets are only allowed if they are service animals.

Stroller Policy:
We believe a fit family is a happy family and allow strollers on course. We do ask: that you start in the back, do not weave through runners, and yield the right of way to runners.

Join a Team Today:
Teams can compete for the Kansas City Urology Care's team award for the group with the largest number of participants. Picking Up for Your Friends & Family:
We do allow runners to pick up Bibs and T-Shirts for their friends. Please note that T-Shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for others.

Course Map:
The 5K course is USATF Certified 5K, through trails and scenery. The race starts and ends at the Kansas City Urology Care's state of the art facility.

Timing & Scoring:
For registered runners, timing and scoring will be provided by Race Day Timing Solutions for the 5K only. A timing chip must be worn by the participant for the 5K race in order to be timed.

Hazardous Weather:
While every effort will be made to conduct the event, the race will be canceled if the weather is judged to be hazardous. Entry fees will not be refunded if the event is canceled.

Kansas City Urology Care is located on the NE corner at I-435 & Nall in Overland Park, KS.

Volunteers:
If you are interested in volunteering for this fun event, we are looking for volunteers to assist with packet pickup, registration, gear check, water stop assistance, course marshals, and finish line food and water.
