On Saturday, October 24, 2009, crowds will gather to participate in the first race to be held at the new AT&T Performing Arts Center, the home of the Borden Uptown Run 5 Mile and 5K Trolley Walk/Run.
Since its inception in 1986, the Borden Uptown Run has continued a tradition of bringing excitement and family fun to Dallas’ Uptown district, driven by its effort to raise funds for Special Olympics Texas. This year’s event line-up includes the Borden Uptown Run, Trolley Walk, Elsie’s Kids K and the crowning event of the day – the inspirational Special Olympics Run. The World Invitational then follows along with an outstanding post-race celebration at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
